I finished Looking For Alaska by John Green
ALDJFIAKLDJFKLADFJ SO GOOD.
To be honest, I didn’t read the back of the book before I read it. I was in love with John Green and put my full trust in him to write a beautiful book. After I was stabbed in the heart a few times, particularly when I got to AFTER, I was really kind of glad I didn’t. Sleeping Out
“Repeat after me: ‘Officer, we walked all the way out here,’” Travis was saying from the driver’s seat. From my spot next to our gear in the back seat, I could see his eyes darting around the empty road worriedly. “’No one drove us.’”[[MORE]]
Neither Sam nor I indulged him by repeating the phrase. We knew we wouldn’t rat him out as an accomplice to our law breaking. I could see Sam in...

wolfqueens:
O CAPTAIN! my Captain! our fearful trip is done; The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won; The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring: But O heart! heart! heart! I would hold his hand Let my other fingers Play in his black Red rooted hair Stroke his stubble Until his breathing Was quieter Than a hummingbirds Wings.

The universal language Is often unspoken Breathing and bowing Replaces constantans and vowels. Sighing a sunset Coughing a requiem. Individual voices Far from human Cascade over each other Putting a firm grip on Their precious chords. Money can’t produce this Whisper in silence Only the nuance of talent Kissing the keys of The instrument.

Why do I have to change so much?
Me: What are you majoring in?
Math Major: Mathematics.
Me: Oh that's cool! I don't quite understand math, but it's cool that you're pursuing that.
Math Major: What about you?
Me: English--
Math Major: EW. English is so lame. I hate English. It's the worst subject ever.

Midnight Gallivanting
Our hair was greasy, our bodies damp. The night reeked from us, even though by now it was considered morning. I shook my slushie cup several times to get the last clusters of ice broken up and into my straw. Adam was in front of us, his hands in the air as he spun, nearly tripping on the broken sidewalk. I wanted to join him, but brain freezes and spinning don’t always go hand in hand and I...
